She caught the Katy

I'm all on my own tonight. Tuesday nights are always lonely because The Boyfriend DJs at a club in Chinatown, and usually spends the night at his own place instead of mine. Usually he calls me when he's through with his set and driving home for the night, and he tells me fun details like what song he started with and which one he ended with, what got a good reaction, who bugged him by requesting reggae all night. Tonight, however, I will not be getting such a phone call, because he left his phone at my place.

On a way cooler note, check out the brand new layout my journal so desperately needed. So very cool and fun. I loved this theme.

Also - I remember when Alex used to have to drive over an hour back and forth to teach at night. He would call me on his way home and I'd lay in bed listening to his voice in the darkness of my bedroom in my parents house. Sometimes I'd half fall asleep listening to his sweet voice.

I miss that. These days we're so busy and he has barely an hour between classes to eat his dinner. And I'm using driving home at that point.

LOOK AT THE PRETTY INDEED! this is an awesome theme. i love the colors and you can't go wrong with an undersea adventure. ;)

great use of those "eyebrows" [are the still called that if you don't have eyes] on mordak. the best villains always have great eyebrows. and randall is my new best friend. so cute! especially the little "hi! my name is randall" sticker! seems like her personality in a nutshell.

I fell for this theme when I was looking for ones for [info]haoleifyouhear and was super sad it only works for paid accounts. Then I remembered that this one is paid! Aha!

Randall and Mordak are fun fellas. I'm really glad you like these comics... when I drew them I was giggling my ass off, but I could only hope others would do the same. I like Randall. He's another true cactus of mine with no spikes on him, so I figured he'd be a bit of a softie. ;)

I really like Mordak. Best evil cactus ever, I tell you. (And I even ended up doodling him on some of my conference notes last week. He's won over one human minion so far...)

BTW, I'm still lovin' all over SCP, just so you know. I just forget to say anything cos I'm scatterbrained like that. ...I think Randall and I would get along just fine. AW BOY ICE CREAM!
