Choo choo ch-boogie

There's a lot that I could say about today -- about a screaming primadonna kid in art class, about how my cat bites me every time I try to pet him, about our fabulous taco night, about selling geisha dolls and paintings, but to be honest, I just gotta sleep. The Boyfriend and I have been working like nuts -- him waaayyy more so than me since he's on friggin' MANDATORY 14 hour shifts including Saturdays (they recently switched it from 12 to 14 hours to try and get him to shove paperclips into his eye sockets), and I'll be pulling six days a week as well.

What I really want is to go to Ko Olina, sit under a palm tree and eat grapes with my sister. I miss being in Hawaii. Living in trashy, gray, dismal, pot-soaked Wahiawa and working in meth-capital crazy person central Aiea, is not what I call living in Hawaii.

Yada yada. I'mm happy tonight anyway. Got a goldfish, got a comic, got a good man, got a tummy full of tacos, I'm all set.

This is fantastic! The last panel literally has my nose tickling! It's my favorite one. Caprica loves sleeping on my pillow and sometimes on my head at night. I'll usually wake up sneezy, but with allergy season in progress, every day I wake up and sneeze like 10 times!

Kit! I need to update your website for you!!! I know you're super busy too; whenever you get around to uploading the images, drop me a line and I'll post them for you!

Heh, I bet you know the feeling! It's the curse of us cat lovers to be always sneezing. But I've tried not having a cat and I really just can't do it.

Oh man, I am such a lazy jerk. I haven't figured out why those previous links didn't work and so I just haven't done anything. I'm sorry. I'll have to go back and try to put everything up. Thanks for being so awesome about it!

I laughed very, very hard at this, as usual. Suki's contrition is adorable.

I've been rereading Calvin & Hobbes, and I love flipping through just to look at the things in Calvin's house. It's fascinating. Your comic lends the same kind of feeling, you know? I love how we always get a feel for your living space.

I was so surprised to learn that so many folks laughed out loud at this one. I guess physical comedy really is the best kind!

I always wanted there to be better atmosphere in the comics, to give a sense of what the apartment actually contained, and while I know I could do way better than I do now, I'm really glad you feel like I'm doing the right thing!

I think happiness in Hawaii is easy enough to attain, but it's difficult if you live in a place where all your neighbors hate you and make it obvious. We'll get out once I get rich and famous. ;)

I've had her in the background several times, and I've had Bugsy in a strip before, but I don't think I've had them talk yet. I guess I was waiting for the proper opportunity. I'm so happy to hear that this made you laugh!

I dunno, I feel like "touristy" and "clean" don't always have to be the same thing... Ewa was nice to live in, a really lovely part of town... the street I live on is full of abandoned cars, dirty diapers and neighbors who hate me.

I shall say hi to Goo. He misses you too. And yeah, life is way busy! But I like it.

He isn't in the military now, actually, he's in a company that works with the military, handling all the paperwork for transporting people and household stuff on and off the island. Over 2,000 troops are leaving before June, so that's why the insane overtime.

I hate his empoyers.
